About the Artist           

Catherine is a professional artist working predominantly in soft pastels. She specialises in commissions for animal and family portraits and is becoming increasingly well known for her wildlife work.  

She has exhibited and sold her work at the Westminster Gallery and the Mall Galleries in London.  She has also had several solo exhibitions.  Her work hangs in many areas of the UK and as far a field as Europe, Australia and America. A selection of Catherine's work is available in limited edition giclee prints and greetings cards.  A selection of her work can also be seen at her studio in Skirpenbeck.

Catherine was elected to full membership of the Society of Women Artists in 2005.  She is a professional associate, demonstrator and promoter of the Society for All Artists and a founder member of both ERA, East Riding Artists, and the East Riding Pastel Society.

Catherine has an entry in Who's Who of Art

 She holds weekly pastel classes for all abilities in Pocklington on Mondays and Tuesdays and is also available to art groups for pastel demonstrations and workshops.  One and two day workshops are now available, details on request.
